Bubsy, the bobcat that Accolade tried really hard to turn into a mascot of sorts, is back. In what will technically be his 7th mainline outing (excluding Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection), Bubsy 4D will again be like Bubsy's most notorious outing, Bubsy 3D, and will be a 3D platformer.
Bubsy 4D is in development from Fabraz and will be published by Atari for the Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.
Bubsy 4D will see the title character once again fighting the alien Woolies. The Woolies have returned to try to steal sheep, which will help to empower their Woolie tech. The sheep didn't take that too lightly and created BaaBots, that fought back and to try to gain back control over The Golden Fleece. So it's up to Bubsy to get the fleece back from the BaaBots, who have now taken over the planets that the Woolies used to live on.

Bubsy 4D features a bunch of platforming, collectibles, and the ability to transform Bubsy into a "hairball" form. That is, he's just a big round Bubsy that can roll around like Super Monkey Ball or something.
