If you've wanted to scope out the Sicilian countryside in Mafia: The Old Country but find the existing Exploration mode a bit lacking, you are in luck. Hangar 13 says that a new "Free Ride" mode will be coming to the game "in the coming months." This mode will add in "some new activities and gameplay" and it will be free to everyone when it releases.
Free Ride was a mode that popped up in Mafia: Definitive Edition. That Free Ride included content such as new missions, various car races, taxi missions, and apparently some alien invaders. It's not really clear what sort of new and added content we will see in The Old Country's Free Roam mode. Perhaps the aliens will pay the world another visit.

Hangar 13 also shared that since release, Mafia: The Old Country players fired 600 million shots, eliminated 185 million enemies, used 17 million bandages, and earned 10 billion Dinari.
