Hangar 13 and 2K say that Mafia: The Old Country will be out on August 8, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and GeForce Now. Pre-orders should be live now for the game for your preferred platform.
Looking at Steam, the Standard Edition for Mafia: The Old Country is just $49.99. There is a Deluxe Edition as well, which bumps that price up to $59.99 and includes some in-game bonuses. Both versions include a pre-purchase bonus in the form of the Soldato Pack that includes: the Soldatao outfit, Scannaturi Speciale knife, Tesoro horse and accessories, and the Lupara charm.
Hangar 13 president Nick Baynes says that Mafia: The Old Country is "a focused, linear experience that combines quality storytelling, authentic era immersion and a refined take on the familiar Mafia gameplay." This decision to make the game more focused allows the studio to "deliver a story that's gritty, grounded, brutal and emotional."
