Sony will literally remaster everything but Bloodborne.

Bend Studio is partnering with Climax Studios on Days Gone Remastered, an updated version of the zombie filled action title that originally released on PlayStation 4 in 2019. Days Gone Remastered is coming April 25, 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PC and will include some updated visuals, new content, and some new features.

It seems like the "new content" isn't all that grand in scale though. According to creative and product lead at Bend, Kevin McAllister, the new content includes a Speedrun mode and an Enhanced Photo Mode. At least the upgrade from the previous version to this Remastered version will run you only $10. if you buy it new it will cost you $49.99.

Days Gone Remastered also includes the usual PS5 enhancements like 3D audio support, VRR support, DualSense controller feature support, and improved accessibility features. There is also the Horde Assault survival mode, a permadeath mode, and pre-order bonuses that include various PSN avatars and early unlocks of equipment upgrades in the game.

Those on PC who own Days Gone will be able to buy the Broken Road DLC that includes basically all of the same content as the Remastered release mentioned above.

None of the studios involved provided any details on what graphical updates or improvements there will be. You can probably assume there will be a resolution bump on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro at least. Apparently the zombie hordes will also be a little larger than they were on PlayStation 4.
