During the Civ World Summit event an announcement was made for something else related to Civilization 7. PlaySide Studios and 2K announced Sid Meier's Civilization 7 - VR for the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. According to the announcement, Civilization 7 - VR is only for the Quest 3 and Quest 3S. This means it won't be available for any other Quest device prior to the 3 and won't be available for PC VR devices.
Civilization 7 - VR is expected to be released at some point in spring 2025. Outside of the obvious changes to the play environment, part of which is now your actual environment, it's not evident if there will be any other gameplay changes compared to the just released flatscreen version of Sid Meier's Civilization 7.
