For those looking for an open-world action-RPG, as there are so few of those these days, you're in luck. On March 10, 2025, the PlayStation 5 exclusive title, Rise of Ronin, will get a PC release via Steam.
Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Rise of Ronin will hit PC at an affordable price of just $49.99. That's not taking into account any potential launch discounts the game might receive.
This planned PC release will include the usual PC-centric features not possible on consoles. These include things like 8K resolution support, support for ultra-wide and super ultra-wide screen resolutions, framerates up to 120 FPS, and more. Please note that the system requirements target 1080p and that's with the use of upscaling.
The PlayStation 5 release sits at a 77% average on OpenCritic. Reviewers seemed to largely praise the game's combat system and environmental design while being down on the game's story pace and sometimes over abundance of useless loot.
