Rocksteady says that they will not release any new content for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League after the end of Season 4. The studio will make a full announcement of the end of support for this game in January 2025.
This initial announcement comes from Rocksteady's latest blog talking about Suicide Squad. This fourth and final season will add in a new playable character, Deathstroke. Other important updates coming in Season 4 will be the addition of an Offline mode. This will be added as part of Season 4 Episode 7 on December 10.
Season 4 will finish with Episode 8. When that's released, that will be the final content released for the game and will feature the final fight against Brainiac. All online features are said to remain available, at least for the time being.
The fact that Suicide Squad received as much post-release content as it has is kind of remarkable given the poor reception to the game. With poor review scores from critics and a constant barrage of complaints from players, the developer support lasted quite a bit longer than expected. As a reminder, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League came out back in February of this year. Yeah, it feels like it came out a lot longer ago, didn't it?
