Undead Nightmare is also launching at the same time.
Rockstar Games has made it official: Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will both be released on PC on October 29, 2024. Rockstar is working in collaboration with Double Eleven on this release.
Red Dead Redemption will release through the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders should be going live soon, with Rockstar saying they'll provide additional details soon.
As part of today's announcement, Rockstar revealed some of the PC-specific features that players will be able to enjoy. These features include up to 4K resolution at up to 144Hz, ultrawide support, super ultrawide support, HDR10, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.
Red Dead Redemption will also include support for Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies. There will be DLSS Frame Generation (no mention of FSR 3 Frame Generation), adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

Nvidia just announced DLSS 5 and are calling it their "most significant breakthrough in computer graphics since the debut of real-time ray tracing in 2018."
