The Farm 51 announced Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, a sequel to their 2021 sci-fi FPS survival horror game, Chernobylite. The sequel will combine elements of open-world, with crafting, team management, base management, and enemy encounters similar to what fans enjoyed in the first title. At present, Farm 51 is hoping to have this sequel out some time in 2025.
You assume the role of someone, a planewalker, that can traverse across parallel worlds searching for a powerful material known as Chernobylite. During your adventure you will face off against all sorts of monstrosities and attempt to reunite and lead the human survivors you come across.
The big difference between this sequel and the original is the move to a more open world gameplay experience. There will also be online co-op included for the campaign, something else that wasn't present in the first title.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone can be wishlisted now on Steam. It's also supposed to arrive on "consoles" when it releases.
