The second Act for Destiny 2: Echoes is now available. Echoes is the name of the first ever Episode for Destiny 2, and Episodes are the replacement for Seasons within Destiny 2. It's a little complicated but all you need to know is that new content is available right now for Destiny 2 players. Horray!
Act 2 of Destiny 2: Echoes adds in new Battlegrounds activities, two new weapons, one reprised weapon, five new Artifact perks, and a continuation of the story that began in Act 1 of Episode: Echoes. A third new Battleground will be added next week. Players will learn more about the new mysterious enemy, the Conductor, that was briefly seen in the first Act.
Bungie also shared some new information on the annual Solstice event, a collaboration with Rec Room, and a new charity tournament. Find out more on these things after the Act 2 trailer below.
Also returning to Destiny 2 later during Act 2 is the annual Solstice event, and this year Guardians have never had a better time to celebrate with the defeat of the Witness. Solstice brings players a new set of explorer-themed armor and an invitation to join the annual Bonfire Bash for more rewards. More information on Solstice to come at a later date.
Bungie is collaborating with Rec Room to bring the recreated version of the Destiny 2 Tower to a new generation of Guardians, where they can join in to experience the Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet in Rec Room. Rec Room players will have a collection of cosmetics to choose from, based on the three Destiny classes. Hunter cosmetics are available now, and Titan and Warlock cosmetics will soon follow. For more info, visit recroom.com.
The Bungie Foundation is going all out for Bungie Day with the Seventh Column Chaos tournament, which has already raised more than one million dollars for the Bungie Foundation, which supports children’s well-being, inclusion, diversity, and equity as well as our ongoing partnerships with humanitarian organizations. Seventh Column Chaos is an ongoing PvP tournament where sixteen teams of community members compete for glory to help raise money for the Bungie Foundation. The Bungie Day Campaign runs until July 28, and those looking to donate or get in on the action can find more information in the Bungie Day 2024 blog.
