The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is the "remaster" of The Outer Worlds that came out in early 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It was a game that I reviewed on the PlayStation 5, making note of the many graphical changes made when compared to the original release. I noted at the time that this release was pretty but was definitely a hard sell for those that already owned the base game. Well, now you don't have to worry about that on PC because it's free to own for the next week. I cannot speak for the current state of the Spacer's Choice Edition on PC. I understand some updates for the PC release came out after release that were said to address some of the performance woes, but I have yet to personally verify those claims.
The 2014 release of Thief was released by Eidos-Montreal and Square Enix. It was both a "reboot" of the original series along with being a bit of a sequel in some aspects. It wasn't as well received as the previous Thief games, and ultimately disappointed a lot of long-time fans.
