During The Game Awards, Capcom announced a new Monster Hunter game is in development at the studio. Called Monster Hunter Wilds, this title is aiming for a 2025 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
No information specific to Wilds was revealed during The Game Awards. We were treated to a trailer reveal of the game and we were sent a few images, but details about new gameplay mechanics were not shared.
Capcom does note that if you want to get a taste of what Monster Hunter is all about before the release of Wilds, Monster Hunter: World is on sale right now for $9.99 (USD) on all digital storefronts. World's expansion, Iceborne, and the Master Edition are also on sale for $14.99 and $19.99 respectively.
