  • New Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Trailer with Idris Elba

    A fresh look at Idris Elba and more information concerning the new expansion.

    CD Projekt Red shared a new look at Idris Elba and his role in the upcoming release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. This new trailer shared today shows some of the events taking place seven years prior to the events of Phantom Liberty.

    In addition, Elba shared some behind the scenes details about his character. Before that, CD Projekt Red shared new details on new gameplay elements and some changes being made to gameplay for Cyberpunk in general. Here is what Director Gabe Amatangelo mentioned about revamped perk and skill trees, new Relic skill trees, and more.

    Also presented were three short videos featuring CD PROJEKT RED gameplay designers sharing their favorite character builds. As a bonus, the studio also released the Cyberpunk 2077 Build Planner — a free tool where players can create and plan their own builds in their browsers; everyone wanting to explore the changes made to the perk system, including the Relic skill tree from Phantom Liberty, can do so here.

That 2.0 update is set to drop on September 21 and will include the revamped police system, redesigned perks, enhanced cyberware, and more.

    Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be out on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on September 26, 2023.
