Let's be real: Nobody knew the servers for these were still live anyway.

If you are still playing the online components for Crysis 3, Dead Space 2, or Dante's Inferno, I've got some bad news for you. First off, it's 2023 and there was a really bad pandemic that started in 2020 (technically it was 2019, but shut up). Secondly, the online servers for those three games are being shut down starting in September.

Specifically, EA will close the online servers for Crysis 3 on September 7. Both Dante's Inferno and Dead Space 2 will see their servers close on December 8. Those of you who go back to these games in the future to play through the single player campaigns shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Crysis 3 came out in 2013, Dead Space 2 was out in 2011, and Dante's Inferno was out even earlier with a release in 2010. Crysis 3 at least has the luxury of being remastered as part of a trilogy with Crysis and Crysis 2 back in 2021. That remaster did not include the online multiplayer though so I'm not even sure why I brought that up.

Earlier in 2023, EA shut down the servers for games like Kingdoms of Amalur, Shadows of the Damned, Syndicate, and Warp.
