A free update for Exoprimal just rolled out today for owners of the surprisingly fun co-op shooter where you eradicate tons of dinosaurs. Today's update offers a new co-op game mode called the Savage Gauntlet, which will see you and your team going up against waves of difficult dinos.
Savage Gauntlet are considered special missions and features PvE encounters against late-game enemies. It seems as though you will need to have completed the main story in Dino Survival mode first before you can dive into the Savage Gauntlet though. There will be new challenges that cycle through every week. There are also global leaderboards showcasing the fastest completion time for teams. Good performance will also earn you "awards."
Capcom is supporting Exoprimal with seasonal title updates that introduce significant new content. Alongside Savage Gauntlet, Season 1 includes the release of 10 new Alpha variant Exosuits on Aug. 16, 2023. These Alpha variant Exosuit designs feature unique weapon loadouts and playstyles that contrast with their default models. Season 2 begins in mid-October 2023 and will include the addition of a new map, mission type, Rigs, Modules, and the highly anticipated Street Fighterâ„¢ 6 crossover content. In January 2024, Season 3 will introduce Beta variant Exosuits, a new Neo Triceratops boss enemy, and a collaboration with the Monster Hunterâ„¢ series among other things.
