Those of you playing or have yet to play A Plague Tale: Requiem will be happy to see that an update is now available for the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio just released a new patch that adds in a new Performance Mode for the console versions of the game as well as additional options added to the PC version that will "optimize graphical performance."

The new performance mode on consoles allows you to play the game at a target framerate of 60FPS. Naturally, the 60FPS option here will come with the side effect of lesser quality visuals, including a reduced resolution.

Asobo Studio isn't leaving the other platforms, such as the Xbox Series S, out to dry. All platforms are getting an update that includes several bug fixes. The Nintendo Switch's cloud version will also get a bug fix update that should arrive next week.

Finally, the PlayStation 5 version of the game is available at a 35% discount for a limited time. It also looks like the Steam version is 40% off until Thursday, May 11th.
