Prime Matter just announced that the Nightdive Studios' developed System Shock has been delayed once more. The game, which was originally slated for release this month (March 2023), will instead be released on May 30, 2023. This new delay comes just about two short months after the studios announced the March 2023 release window.
That's pretty much it for this news today. Today's press release doesn't provide any sort of specific information as for the delay reason.
System Shock is still up for pre-order on PC and can be purchased from Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $39.99 (USD). A playable demo is also available from each of those storefronts. A PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S release is also coming, but that one is set for "the near future."

Honestly i wish i could get as excited as the people who are so distraught by delays, when i was younger i understood "delays make the game better", and these days i'm so incredibly slow at getting through things i barely even notice how long it takes for things to come out, this remake is one of my more anticipated games and i probably wouldn't notice if they took another 2 years.
