Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive Reboots Seemingly Confirmed

Reboots are coming, so long as these translations are accurate.

Team Ninja president Fumihiko Yasuda spoke recently at a panel held at the G-Star conference in Busan, South Korea. According to remarks made during the panel, Yasuda seemingly announced that there are reboots coming for both Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. No additional details were shared, except that Yasuda wants to get fans some more news "as soon as possible."

The statements, as relayed by V...

Koei Tecmo just announced that they will have playable Dead or Alive 6 builds at the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2018, taking place August 3-4 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Those headed to the event can find the demo stations set up at the Koei Tecmo booth on the show floor. In addition to being playable, they will hold a special Dead or Alive 6 mini-tournament in addition to their Dead or Alive 5 Last Round championship. The Dead or Alive 5 championship...

Dead or Alive 6 Announced, Coming 2019

Early 2019 is the current release window that has been set for Dead or Alive 6. The next iteration of the popular fighting franchise will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Team Ninja promises to deliver more information on June 11. I'm assuming we'll see more of this during Sony's E3 2018 conference since their conference is on the 11th.

IGN has a hands-on with Dead or Alive 6, if you'd like some first hand impressions that you probably won't...

Have no fear closet Dead or Alive Extreme 3 fans, pole dancing is indeed returning to the game. Some were probably worried that it was a one and done affair when it showed up in Dead or Alive Extreme 2, but Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja were all like "oh no, not on our watch! Official Response from Koei Tecmo Regarding Dead or Alive Xtreme 3

Koei Tecmo has released an official statement regarding Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 and how it still isn't coming out in the West, just as they originally revealed months back. For those that don't know, someone on Koei Tecmo's community team decided it would be a great idea to not so subtly say that the studio wasn't going to release DOAX3 in the West due to the social issues surrounding women in games and how the company was facing backlash from particular groups already. At least that's how the rem...

  • Koei Tecmo Threatens Not to Release PC Games in the Future if People Mod Dead or Alive 5

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be the first appearance of the series on the PC (via Steam). As you may expect, people are already a bit excited for the game to appear on PC if for no other reason than it will be another game that they can create and download mods for. Right? Well, not of the game's publisher, Koei Tecmo, and the game's developer, Team Ninja, have anything to say about it.

The director of the game, Yohei Shimbori, gives a very clear warning to people wanting to...
