Warner Bros. Games released a brand-spanking-new gameplay trailer today for their upcoming open-world action-RPG Gotham Knights. This latest video features a fresh gameplay look and custom cutscenes for Robin, otherwise known as Tim Drake. Drake is the third person to take on the role as Robin.
In combat, Robin utilizes a collapsible quarterstaff in addition to stealth techniques, psychological warfare, and deductive reasoning. He is able to teleport wherever he wants thanks to the Justice League satellite, meaning he can "zap himself across the battlefield." Drake's natural intelligence provides him with skills that "are on par with, if not even better than, Batman himself."
Gotham Knights is slated to be released on October 25, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders will get the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin at launch. Prior to this Robin reveal, we saw some footage of Red Hood and Nightwing.
Gotham Knights features the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, players will confront an array of challenges as they evolve into their own version of the Dark Knight.
