Another fever dream from Devolver somehow results in four new game reveals and trailers.
Devolver Direct 2022

If you happened to miss the the Devolver Digital Marketing Countdown to Marketing livestream, you missed out on something absolutely beautiful. The event felt like a fever dream in all the best ways. Suda51 was brought on to virtually host from a giant robot. Gaming-verses were colliding into one monopolistic hellscape. Sonic and Lady Dimitrescu playing Apex Forza on an Atari Dreamstation 64. Tom Clancy's Animal Crossing t-shirts. There was even a segment that referenced the fantastic 1984 film, The Neverending Story. A movie that is undoubtedly older than most of the people who watched the show on Thursday.

Among all the glorious madness, there were four new trailers and games shown off to the eager masses yearning for more.

Cult of the Lamb
Cult of the Lamb by Massive Monsters is an adorable game where you are a possessed lamb on a journey to create your own cult in a land of false prophets. Build structures, perform dark rituals, and reinforce the faith of your followers by giving sermons.

This game is being developed by Massive Monster and is set to arrive on August 11, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. There is currently a demo available right now through Steam.

Anger Foot
Developer Free Lives revealed Anger Foot during the Devolver stream. This is a new shooter that is mostly about kicking in doors, kicking enemies, kicking the environment, and kicking ass.

You will blast your way through the colorful "caffeine-fueled fever dream of Shit City" as you kick away "a menacing menagerie of merciless gangsters." Players will gain access to new weapons, new sneakers, and upgraded powers as you fight through slums, sewers, and skyscrapers.

A demo for Anger Foot is available right now through Steam. The full release of the game is expected to arrive on PC at some point in 2023.

The Plucky Squire
The Plucky Squire is an adorable adventure game in development from All Possible Futures. This is a game that brings storybook characters to life as they find themselves being able to explore outside the confined pages of their book.

The Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his friends - storybook characters who discover a three-dimensional world outside the pages of their book. When the malevolent Humgrump realizes he's the villain of the book - destined to lose his battle against the forces of good for all eternity - he kicks the heroic Jot out of its pages and changes the story forever.
You will be able to jump between 2D and 3D worlds to solve puzzles, do battle against foes, fly around with a jetpack, and plenty more. The Plucky Squire will be out in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Skate Story
Skate Story by Sam Eng puts a new spin on the skateboarding genre. You play the role of a demon in the Underworld. You are made of glass and pain. The Devil himself has given you a skateboard and made a simple deal with you: "Skate to the Moon and swallow it - and you shall be freed."

You will skateboard through surreal landscapes while pulling off sick tricks and destroying demons and tortured souls along the way.

Skate Story is coming to PC via Steam in 2023.

And that's everything that was shown during the Devolver Digital Marketing Countdown to Marketing livestream. If you didn't get to see it live, I'll embed the show below. It's only about 25 minutes long and super worth watching unless you hate swearing or you hate Suda51 or you love monopolies.
