June 9 marks the date in which Techland will officially bring to an end new, active development on the original Dying Light. Over the past seven years, the studio has released what can best be described as a ton of updates, improvements, and content for the zombie slaying game.
On the 9th, a new and very ultimate edition of Dying Light will be made available. It's called Dying Light: Definitive Edition and will include the base game along with all 26 DLC packs ranging from new skin bundles to the more gameplay-oriented expansions.
This Definitive Edition will launch with discounts of up to 70% off for new purchases. Those that already own the Platinum Edition will get an upgrade to the Definitive Edition for free. Those on the Nintendo Switch will get a digital and physical release at a later date.
That’s not all! We couldn’t be happier with the awesome community that fully embraced their experience in the city of Harran and kept motivating us to aim ever higher. To thank you for allowing us to spend all these great years with Dying Light, we would like to present everyone with a free DLC - Harran Tactical Unit Bundle for a limited time—2 weeks after the Definitive Edition’s premiere. This offer will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store on Xbox.(...)

On the one hand, it’s a nod to 7 years of immense love and support for this game; on the other, it’s the grand finale of our adventures in Harran. But let’s see what the future brings.
