Last year, Sega officially announced a new, open-world Sonic the Hedgehog title during The Game Awards. We weren't provided much in the way of new information then and the same kind of holds true today for Sonic Frontiers.
Admittedly, today's new video does show off a tiny bit of gameplay, but not much. The entire trailer is only about 38 seconds long. However, more is promised to be revealed through IGN and their IGN First platform for June. What we see today is a quick look at Sonic running fast, getting into some combat, and even what looks to be a boss fight.
IGN says that their month of Sonic Frontiers content kicks off on June 1 at 12PM (ET).
