Remedy Entertainment announced today that a TV series based off of Alan Wake is coming to life thanks to AMC. The cable station acquired the rights to develop the show, though most every other detail about it was not yet revealed.

Remedy creative director Sam Lake says that they have been wanting to create a live-action Alan Wake show for quite some time now. Remedy and AMC are working together on this show. AMC is the same station that aired shows such as The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. I'm sure we'll have more details on this one further down the line.

During today's 12th anniversary video, Lake also revealed that Alan Wake Remastered will be coming out for the Nintendo Switch. The release will hit the Nintendo eShop at some point this Fall. Alan Wake Remastered is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Remedy is also still working on Alan Wake 2. While the game is deep in development, Lake isn't ready to share any further updates outside of saying that they are "pushing further into the horror aspect of it." Do not expect to see anything from Alan Wake 2 until at least after Summer. A few new pieces of concept art were shared for Alan Wake 2 during the stream.
