It's probably not related to a battle royale. Maybe.

VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb is claiming that the name of the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This claim was made right near the tail end of his premium Giant Bomb show, Grubbsnax.

Near the end of his show, Grubb told the viewers that he was indeed aware of the title of the sequel. After giving a few clues, a Giant Bomb member going by the name of colonelsanders21 was the first to correctly guess that the name was indeed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Grubb said that colonelsanders21 "nailed it" with his guess.

Grubb did not elaborate any on anything else. He merely confirmed the name. Of course, nothing official about the sequel has been announced yet. The name could change, or Grubb's information could be incorrect. That's kind of how these things go. However, Grubb's track record is pretty solid, so we're inclined to trust him (and colonelsanders21) on this.

Prior to today's show, Grubb has said that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will end up being a next-gen only release and probably won't be out until 2023.

EA had confirmed that a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was in development as of January this year. The sequel is once again being developed by Respawn Entertainment.
