Microsoft announced that they partnered with Epic Games to bring Fortnite to all browser-enabled devices for free. This is being done through the Xbox Cloud Gaming service, which is still currently in a beta phase in 26 countries.

What this means for you is that you can now play Fortnite basically anywhere and on any device. This includes playing Fortnite once again on iOS devices.

All you need is a Microsoft account along with an iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet, or a Windows PC with internet access. Once you have those things, just head on over to Xbox.com/play through your web browser to get started. You'll be able to play either with touch controls or via a supported controller.

You will not need anything like an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play either.

It’s an important step to add a Free-to-Play title to the cloud gaming catalog as we continue our cloud journey. We’re starting with Fortnite and will look to bring more Free-to-Play games people love in the future. At Xbox we want to make gaming accessible to the 3 billion players around the world, and cloud has an important role in that mission. Quite simply we want you to have more choice in both the games you play and the way you choose to play them.
That's certainly one way for Epic Games to bypass the Apple ban.
