Techland says that they will debut New Game Plus alongside a console FOV slider for Dying Light 2 this week. These updates and more will be a part of the April 27 Update 1.3.0 release for the game. Those that are playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will get the FOV slider option included.
Those looking to go through the game's main story again will soon be able to do so thanks to New Game +. Enemies will scale to Aiden's progression and present "challenging, never-before-seen infected variants" that will guard "the best loot in the game." Another 30 inhibitors will be included in New Game Plus that will let players "push health and stamina to their very peaks." There will also be new Platinum tier parkour challenges where you will be racing against the best times in the global community.
The full list of bug fixes and improvements will be posted to Dying Light 2's social media channels as well as to Steam once the update is live. I'm sure we'll share that with you once it's made available.

Enemies now scale their challenge to Aiden’s level, but for those seeking more a challenging skirmish, Techland has prepared encounters with golden marks. Those special battles will sorely test even the bravest Pilgrims out with unique enemies and unexpected behavior. And for the ultimate challenge, find the quest “Something Big Has Been Here.†New infected with new attacks await!
Many of these new encounters will reward players with greater “Legendary†weapon rarity and valuable items. But for those who prefer to collect titles over the prizes, Techland added a new platinum medal for parkour challenges, with goal times based on the community’s best results!
