Though the bulk of the big video game releases in 2022 have already passed by, or will come to pass later this year, that doesn't mean there is a major shortage of games coming out during these "slow" months. In fact, May 2022 has several big games slated to be released across most every platform currently available on the market.

Hopefully there will be a little something here that strikes your fancy. If, by some stretch, none of these games entice you, then perhaps you may be interested in checking out UK real money slots. None of the games coming out in May are going to scratch that slot-itch, so why not just go directly to the real deal instead.

The month of May opens with a little action-adventure title from Flying Wild Hog, the development studio that brought us the Shadow Warrior games along with Evil West. Their newest game, Trek to Yomi is an upcoming side-scrolling action title that Devolver Digital will publish. The game is set in Japan and you play as a young warrior setting out on a journey to confront the people who destroyed his village. This one will be out on May 5 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and for PC.

Just five days later, we have a double dose of gaming goodness to tell you about. The first is for those who like difficult, Souls-like games. It's called Salt and Sacrifice and it is the follow-up to Salt and Sanctuary. This new release is coming out just for the PlayStation and PC platforms.

If that isn't your style, perhaps We Were Here Forever is more your speed. This co-op puzzle adventure title from Total Mayhem Games will be the fourth title in the We Were Here series. Look for this one to hit PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.

Three days later on the 13th is the release of Evil Dead: The Game. Ash Williams himself, Bruce Campbell, once again reprises the role that saw him picking up a boomstick and fighting off the forces of evil across several films. A recent gameplay video showed off some of this asymmetrical multiplayer game in action. Like many of the other titles in this article, this one is coming out for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The PC release is only through the Epic Games Store however.

On May 19, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will be released for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and even the Nintendo Switch. This particular Vampire: The Masquerade game is an RPG from Big Bad Wolf, and not the action-RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. This narrative driven title will place you in control of three vampires with different abilities. You will get to explore the game world, pick locks, hack computers, and build your characters to fit your play style. Together, these three vampires will work to investigate various conspiracies throughout Boston following a violent shootout.

The tail end of May goes out with a bang, perhaps literally. Hardspace: Shipbreaker (PC only) tasks the player with exploring and dismantling derelict spaceships in zero-gravity. Just be careful you don't inadvertently trigger an explosion. You risk losing more than just some precious materials if you do. Look for this one to leave Steam Early Access on May 24.

Two days later on the 26th, it's time to head back to World War II. Sniper Elite 5 (PlayStation, Xbox, and PC) offers up another entry in the third-person tactical shooter series. Like the previous entries in the series, you could go into combat encounters loud, but you are better suited to staying far away from your targets and utilizing your trusty sniper rifle to pick them off from afar. The series is known for its visceral X-Ray Kill Cam and it will once again return in Sniper Elite 5.

Finally, on May 27 there will be a little something for fans of old school gaming. Bandai Namco is readying the release of Pac-Man Museum +, a sequel to 2014's Pac-Man Museum. This release contains a huge number of retro and older Pac-Man titles from throughout the years. Some of the Pac-Man titles included in this compilation include the original 1980's release of Pac-Man, 1995's Pac-In-Time adventure game, and even Pac-Man 256, the endless runner that earned rather high praise from critics and fans alike when the game made its debut in late 2015.
