Truck sims, farming sims, washing sims, sim sims.
Next week on March 28, Valve will kick off the Steam Simfest: Hobby Edition. This is a planned multi-day celebration of games that "attempt to simulate a hobby or job."
Think what you will about the genre, but simulation games are a massive market and quite loved by tons of people. As such, it just makes sense that Valve is dedicating an entire week for the genre. The event runs from March 28 through April 4 at 10AM (PT).
In the brief press release, Valve says that this event "will include discounts, demos, and developer livestreams all week." There will also be some official talks and panel discussions starting on April 1 and running through April 4, right when the event officially begins.
