Early in 2021, Terraria owners on non-Switch platforms received the massive Journey's End update. This update seems to have added over 1,000 new items to find and craft, new bosses, and final passes for balance, graphical quality, and mechanics. It was at that point that the developers considered the game to be called "complete."
Today, that Journey's End update was released for Nintendo Switch owners of Terraria. Alongside all of the content comes a bevy of additional Switch-specific features and improvements.
If you do not yet own Terraria, you can pick it up for the Switch for $19.99 (USD). It's also available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One for the same price. The PC and Stadia release is just $9.99. The iOS and Android versions are $4.99 each.
