During today's ID@Xbox indie showcase today, Stardew Valley developer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone announced that the game will be coming to Game Pass. A solid release date was not yet announced but Barone said that it'll probably drop "sometime in the Fall."

Stardew Valley is a game where you can farm, you can fish, you can go mining in caves, and you can form relationships with the townsfolk. It was first released back in 2016 for Steam and has since exploded in popularity. Over the past several years it has been released on consoles and mobile platforms. It has also received a ton of quality of life and content updates. The game now features multiple farm layouts, tons of new content, more things to do in the "endgame," and has added in four-player co-op since its release.

Sales of the game have surpassed 10 million units as of early 2020. If you haven't played it yet, you're really missing out on something special. Thankfully this move to Game Pass will allow for even more players to try it out for themselves.
