Next week on September 15, Conan Exiles will get its first major expansion, Isle of Siptah. It will bring with its release a new map, new dungeons, new monsters, and a fresh start for players. The catch here is that this expansion is releasing into Early Access upon its "release" next week.

Conan Exiles; Isle of Siptah is said to offer "an even playing field for new and old players alike." What does this mean? It means that everyone gets a fresh start with a new character on the Isle of Siptah, an "island engulfed in magical storms and eldritch creatures." Sounds nice! It's also the home to over a dozen new dungeons called vaults. There is also a big spooky dark tower that is surrounded by a magical storm.

Isle of Siptah is in fact a whole new way of experiencing the online survival game, where players now will be able to summon magical portals that forcibly pull NPCs from the Exiled Lands and into this new and mysterious place. Players will have to compete for these opportunities, creating bloody conflict and an all-new gameplay loop.

Isle of Siptah comes with two new building sets, allowing you to construct pirate themed towns of flotsam and majestic castles from stormglass. You will be able to ride into battle on the back of a brand-new mount, the mighty rhinoceros. Acquiring the game in early access will even grant you a limited edition War-torn Rhino Mount Skin. The new building sets and mounts will also be accessible on the base game map, as long as you have Isle of Siptah installed.
That's not all though. Starting today, September 10, and running through Monday, September 14, you can play Conan Exiles for completely free during a Steam Free Weekend. This free weekend is also accompanied by a 65% discount off of the base game, which will allow you to keep playing the base game after the weekend is over.
