Bungie and Microsoft are teaming up once more.
The band is somewhat back together. Bungie is teaming up with Microsoft to bring Destiny 2 to Xbox Game Pass this Fall. Come September, Game Pass subscribers will get access to the standard edition of Destiny 2, which gives base level access to most Destiny 2 content including Forsaken and Shadowkeep. Access to Beyond Light will arrive when that expansion drops on November 10, 2020.
Later in the year, Bungie will release an Xbox Series X version of Destiny 2. This release will include 4K resolution support at 60 frames per second. Those who already own Destiny 2 on the Xbox One will get a free bump to the Series X version at no extra charge thanks to Smart Delivery.
In addition, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get access to Destiny 2 on Android mobile devices thanks to xCloud streaming.
Further details about the Game Pass launch and other burning questions are probably already answered for you. Just head on over and read this new FAQ from Bungie to see if your question is already answered.
A new trailer was shown off for Destiny 2: Beyond Light as part of today's Xbox Games Showcase.
