Everyone loves a new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer. Which means you're going to love this post, so feel free to share it around. Or, chances are, you already saw this trailer because it's been out for about 8 hours now, which is a literal lifetime on the Internet.
Today, Square Enix released a new trailer for their upcoming RPG that focuses on the outstanding OST made for the game. Specifically, today's trailer unveils the theme song for Final Fantasy VII Remake.
This new song is entitled Hollow and is written by series composer Nobuo Uematsu. It features vocals from singer-songwriter Yosh, a member of the Japanese rock band called Survive Said the Prophet.
This new trailer also gives players a look at Remake's "epic boss battles and characters." You also get another look at Midgar, the city that will be the prominent location in the first part of Remake.
Square Enix also released a new behind-the-scenes video. This video includes interviews with Yosh and Nobuo Uematsu. Both this and the new trailer are found below. There is also a bit about what to expect from the Orchestra World Tour for 2020.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released on April 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4. Though unconfirmed, it looks very, very likely that it will hit other platforms at a later date.
Additionally, fans will get to experience the breath-taking music from FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE live, including the game’s theme song, during the Orchestra World Tour in over 10 cities, in cooperation with AWR Music Productions. Starting in Los Angeles this June, the concerts will feature music from the game’s soundtrack performed by a majestic orchestra and full chorus, all conducted by GRAMMY®-Award winner Arnie Roth known for his work on Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY. For those unable to attend, the full FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Original Soundtrack will also be available from early Summer 2020.

Cus i thought this was the theme song.
Though I'm sure there will be plenty of songs that are identical, or near identical between the two, it seems like there will be some changes made. The theme just happens to be one of them. Who knows, maybe they'll have made an updated version of the old theme and put it elsewhere in the game.
