Another crossover event is almost here.

On Saturday, December 14 at 2PM (ET), Fortnite players will want to make sure they're gathered around Risky Reels. It is at this time and this location that Fortnite players will get an exclusive, never-before-seen look at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Everyone that attends the in-game event will also receive a free TIE Whisper Glider. There are now also special Star Wars outfits, Gliders, Pickaxes, and emotes available in the Item Shop.

The "doors" open at 1:30PM (ET), which is just 30 minutes ahead of when the sneak peak takes place.


Also of note is the fact that Fortnite won an award last night at The Game Awards for "Best Ongoing Game." I very much disagree with that one and feel like that should have easily gone to Final Fantasy XIV since at least their updates have been consistent, but that's not up to me.
