One of the best adventure games in years is coming to the PS4 tomorrow.
Gris

Gris from Nomada Studio and publisher Devolver Digital is finally coming to the PlayStation 4 on November 26. This was announced today on the PlayStation Blog. For those keeping track at home, that's less than one day away from the time of this posting. This will allow PS4 owners to finally experience the gorgeous visuals and intriguing story in this adventure-platformer.

Though Gris has already won awards for visual design and art, the team has actually gone ahead and revamped "over five thousand unique assets" to bump up their resolution anywhere from 2x to 4x. This was done for the PlayStation 4 Pro and those that utilize 4K displays. In addition, the PS4 release will also have the musical score included at less compression than what you'd find on other platforms. There is also some quality of life improvements and a special PlayStation exclusive secret for you to discover.

Gris has been available for a little while now on the PC via Steam and the Nintendo Switch.

Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.
