Hey all you rabid Hatsune Miku fans out there, it's time to stop! Stop importing Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix that is, because this game is headed to the West by way of a Nintendo Switch release in 2020. This release is said to give both new and old fans of Project DIVA new ways to play at home or on the go.
The core game is still all about rhythm game modes and includes both traditional button controls in addition to new modes unique to the Switch.
This release is not only the debut of the series on the Switch, but also a "Major milestone for the Project DIVA series." This release will include a redesigned graphical style that compliments the return of fan-favorite songs and over 100 others that have been "reinvigorated with anime-style graphics." There are also a "selection of songs" that were never included in a Project DIVA game that are included here for the Mega Mix.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is playable by 1-2 players and will be out on the Switch at some point in 2020. I'm sure we'll have more on this one as the months go on.
