Back at E3, Ubisoft announced that they would soon launch their own subscription service. This service that they're calling Uplay+ would function much like EA's Access and Origin Access programs in that you will be able to pay a monthly fee to gain access to an ever growing library of old and new titles from the publisher. Really, the only major differences that I can see here is the fact that Uplay+ may not include a discount on game purchases like EA has with their Access program.

Today, Ubisoft revealed their initial game offerings for Uplay+. This looks to include "unlimited access to more than 100 Ubisoft games across a wide variety of franchises, genres, and generations." Not only will the base games be included, but a lot of the extra premium content will also be included with many of these games. This includes the premium versions of the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Watch Dogs Legion.

Uplay+ is set to launch on PC on September 3. If you sign up now, Ubisoft will provide you access to a free trial of Uplay+ from September 3 through September 30. This means that they won't charge you until September 30 if you do decide to sign up during that free trial period. You do need a valid credit/debit card though and you will be charged for October come October 1 if you do not cancel before that free trial ends. Speaking of charges, the monthly fee for Uplay+ is $14.99 (USD).
