Both Killing Floor 2 and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam are free to play this week on Steam. This is being done by Tripwire Interactive to mark the first free updates of 2019 for both titles.
The free week for these games began today at 10AM (PT) and will conclude on April 1 at 10AM (PT). And naturally, there is also a sale on the Killing Floor and Red Orchestra franchises during this time. You can find all of these games on the Tripwire page on Steam.
What are these updates though? Killing Floor 2 has a "Cyber Revolt Update" that adds in a new map, two new weapons, new music, new achievements, and prestige enhancements. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam adds in three new maps. Details on both of these updates can be found below.
Starting now, players on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam can jump into Killing Floor 2: Cyber Revolt Update and experience Spillway, a brand new map that along with the new weapons and cosmetics brings a cyberpunk aesthetic to the gruesome glory of Killing Floor 2. Now annihilating zeds is even more thrilling with two new weapons, the Helios Rifle and the Killerwatt, along with other new content like music, achievements, and prestige enhancements. Killing Floor 2: Cyber Revolt will also support limited-time objectives that will run until the end of the event, on April 23.
