Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters is a newly released free-to-play "sampler" of the full Dead or Alive 6 game. It's now available to download on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

This release offers up a limited amount of content from the full game. It includes four characters (Kaumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass). It also allows you to play online ranked battles, Versus, Arcade, Time Attack, Training, and Quest modes. If you want to play through the game's Story mode, you'll be able to play through only the introduction portion. In addition, players can access DOA Central, where you can handle wardrobe, listen to the game's music, and view videos in the theater.

This release comes alongside the release of the second online update for Dead or Alive 6. This update adds in new high-level DOA Quests, new entrance scenes, new victory scenes, and the "tuning of costume part earning parameters in order to help enhance the overall gaming experience."

Finally, the first Season Pass content called "Happy Wedding Vol. 1" is out now. It includes a variety of wedding themed clothes like wedding dresses for the women and tuxedos for the men.
