Today, Sony offered up the first ever look at what the Monster Hunter movie is looking like. We've seen a few photos alreadsy before this, but apparently this is the "first look." Hey, who am I to doubt things said on Twitter.

Monster Hunter, the movie, is written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. He also did the very successful Resident Evil movies that starred Milla Jovovich. Milla Jovovich is also in Monster Hunter. Paul W. S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich are married just as Zina Sabbagh is married to Stephen Sackur. I can only assume they have a diabolical plot to corner the market on Hollywood films based off of Capcom franchises.

Yep, that looks exactly like the games. The two are almost indistinguishable from one another.
