Detective Pikachu movie first trailer
The first trailer for the Pokemon Detective Pikachu film has arrived. It certainly is something. The trailer features a Pikachu that is 45% snark, 45% gritty, 10% adorable, and 100% Ryan Reynolds.

That's 200%. That's a lot of Detective Pikachu to wrap your mind around. It's actually looking pretty... well, good? I thought so at least. Then again, I'm not really a fan of the games, so I had no strong feelings one way or another going into this.

Detective Pikachu is slated to hit theaters in Summer 2019, but here's your first taste of things to come.
