Diablo 3: Eternal Collection
Yesterday, Forbes prematurely leaked the announcement of Diablo III: Eternal Collection for the Nintendo Switch. Today, the official announcement was made and while there isn't too much more to expand upon, there is a trailer to check out.

It should be noted that in addition to the Ganondorf transmog effect for your character's armor, Switch owners will also get a cucco pet, a portrait frame that looks like the Trifoce, and a set of cosmetic wings that you can put on your characters.

The Switch release will also allow players to hop directly into the Adventure Mode without the need to complete the campaign first. The Adventure Mode is less about telling a story and more about just jumping into the action with a bunch of different "bounty" type quests that you can complete.

For those hoping for save transfers between the other consoles or the PC versions of the game to the Switch version should know that this is not possible. However, cloud saves are included and will allow you to download your Switch based characters to other Switch consoles if you want to play with your friend. Also, there are no current plans for cross-platform play.

A few other interesting bits here is the fact that Diablo 3 is said to run at 60 FPS and at 720p in handheld mode. The docked mode will run at 60FPS at 960p resolution.
