Early this morning confirmations came out that Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 will all be given the remaster treatment and released on the PlayStation 4.

Yakuza 3 will be released on August 9 alongside a code to download the soundtrack.

Yakuza 4 will arrive later this Fall.

Yakuza 5 will be released in Spring 2019.

Now it's important to note here that all of these release dates are just for Japan along with the rest of Asia. Alongside the Japanese voice work, it will include Chinese and Korean localizations. With any luck, Sega will bring all of them to the West in a timely fashion. Given that these are all remasters, a lot of the translation heavy lifting should have already taken care of years ago.

Famitsu says that the Yakuza 3 remaster will run at 1080p and 60fps on the base PlayStation 4.

Once released, the PlayStation 4 will be the only platform where you can purchase and play Yakuza 0, 1 (Kiwami), 2 (Kiwami 2), 3, 4, 5, and 6, plus Shenmue I, II, and III. Wrap your minds around that for a moment.
