Crytek just released the first major performance patch for Hunt: Showdown, their upcoming multiplayer FPS that features PvPvE style gameplay. This patch is focused on CPU optimizations, reducing memory usage, and tackling a number of known issues that caused stuttering during movement and aiming.Hunt: Showdown is currently in Steam Early Access for $29.99 (USD). The team has been quite good about keeping their community in the know about future patches and content updates thanks to an ever evolving Hunt: Showdown roadmap.

All of these changes should increase the general smoothness and response of the game, as well as, in some cases, overall framerate—particularly on lower spec machines. In addition, this patch addresses the missing vegetation issue at the start of the game.
