    H1Z1 is now available as a free-to-play title on Steam. This comes about a week after the game was released out of Steam Early Access.

    Those who paid money for the game will be given a free "Appreciation Pack."
    • Gasrunner Hoodie
    • Bloom Survivor T-Shirt
    • Splinter Camo ARV
    • 10 Victory Crates
    • 10,000 Skulls

    There will also be various bundles for the free-to-play crowd. You know, in case you want to spend money.

    Just keep in mind that this game started out with the promise of being F2P. It was then released as a paid Early Access title. F2P went out the window as the game was then split into two different games. The non-Battle Royale mode was eventually abandoned. The game was then released as a paid product a week ago and then switched to F2P today. I cannot imagine there are very many happy customers out there.
