Red Barrels announced that Outlast and Outlast 2 will soon scare you on the go. The team is bringing these two horror titles to the Nintendo Switch in early 2018. With 2018 being just around the corner, that wait won't be long at all.

In addition, the team said that while there will one day be an Outlast 3, they are not currently working on that game. Instead, they are working on a "distinct experience set in the Outlast universe." Since they also said it isn't going to be DLC for Outlast 2, it's a bit up in the air as to what this might be. Maybe it's a middle chapter that bridges the first two games? Maybe it's some sort of a prequel to the first game? Or maybe it's just some special virtual reality Outlast experience.
