Both Microsoft and Sony announced their lineup of "free" games for July 2017. These games are available to those that subscribe to Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus respectively.

On the Xbox side, we have Grow Up, Runbow, Kane & Lynch 2, and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game. Keep in mind that the first two games are Xbox One only but all four can be played on the Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility. I feel sorry for anybody that expects Kane & Lynch 2 to be a good game, however.
On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Grow Up ($9.99 ERP) for free during the month of July. Runbow ($14.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from July 16th to August 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting July 1st, Kane & Lynch 2 ($14.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through July 15th. Then on July 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game ($19.99 ERP) for free through July 31st.

The PlayStation side of things brings us Until Dawn (PS4), Game of Thrones (PS4), Tokyo Jungle (PS3), Darkstalkers Resurrection (PS3), Element4l (PSV), and Don't Die, Mr. Robot (PSV, PS4). In addition to this, from July 4 through October 24 PS Plus members can get That's You for the launch of PlayLink. Then on top of all that, you can get in on access to the beta for Orcs Must Die Unchained on July 18. AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT, you will also get the Plus Pack for Orcs Must Die Unchained as part of your PlayStation Plus membership. This pack normally goes for $20 (USD) but will be available to Plus subscribers at no extra charge until August 15.
