  • GameStop to Announce New Ready at Dawn Game Next Week

    Next Week, GameStop's new publishing branch, GameTrust, will announce the latest from Ready at Dawn (The Order: 1886).

    The pre-announcement came during GameStop's Q1 2016 earnings call from COO Tony Bartel:
    Next week, we will be announcing our second game under development, with Ready at Dawn.

    Not much is known about this title just yet. All that can be pulled from a recent job listing is that it may be a AAA third-person action title in development for consoles and Oculus VR.

        The studio behind Lone Echo was just closed by Meta.

        Ready at Dawn was founded in 2003 and was just shuttered by Meta on August 7, 2024.

        The studio was responsible for several PlayStation titles such as the PlayStation Portable titles Daxter, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. The studio went on to develop the beautiful, but short, The Order: 1886 for the PlayStation 4.
