    The upcoming horror title, Layers of Fear, will run at 1080p and 30 FPS on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The devs say that they're opting for the stable 30 fps to hit that coveted "movie-like feeling." Wait, what?
    “As with Xbox One the framerate has been locked to 30fps to maintain the movie-like feeling and the pacing of the game. Of course the game runs in 1080p resolution.”

    Er, alright. Bloober Team PR Manager, Rafal Basaj, also notes that the game is not utilizing the seventh core on either platform. He notes that they did not feel the need to do that as they "have already achieved the desired, stable version of the game (they) wanted to create."

    The PC version of the game is not limited to 30 FPS.

        I am glad that this is not limited to 30fps on PC. Since your showing of this game earlier, this has been on my radar. Looks like it will be enjoyable to run through.

        Yes, they changed the title of the game.

        Bloober released a new teaser trailer this weekend during IGN Fanfest for Layers of Fear. This is the game that was previously known as Layers of Fears. It can now either be called Layers of Fear or Layers of Fear (2023), which is not to be confused with Layers of Fear not from 2023 but rather from 2016.         The horror mashup is now released.

        Bloober Team and Anshar Studios just released Layers of Fear today for PC, "Apple Silicon Mac", PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. They say that this is one of the first horror games built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5. They're also saying that this is the definitive way to experience the Layers of Fear games, be you a new player or someone that has played the previous games already.
