in NewsCPU Limits to Blame for Destiny 2 30FPS Lock on Consoles
Bungie, in an interview with IGN, confirmed that the console versions of Destiny 2 are once again locked to 30FPS. Even on the PlayStation 4 Pro? Yes, even on the Pro. Why? Because the CPU in these current consoles are weak.
This is according to Bungie's Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy.
IGN: Why did you make that decision. You're like 'We're going to lock it at 4K/30(FPS) max on consoles.' Is it just like, you don't want to push the consoles too hard, or why do you make... -

In speaking with USA Today, Microsoft's Publishing General Manager, Shannon Loftis, said that Xbox Scorpio will have native 4K rendering for first party games at launch. In addition, they have plans to support virtual reality, something that was strongly hinted at before but never really confirmed before now.

in NewsNvidia Accused of Deceiving Consumers with Artificially Sped Up 60FPS Batman: Arkham Knight Promo Video
Prior to the game's release, Nvidia cut a couple of GameWorks promotional videos for Batman: Arkham Knight. Interestingly, those videos were presented at 60FPS. Unfortunately, the actual game doesn't run at 60FPS without an INI tweak. Even worse is that the game doesn't reliably run at 60FPS even with the INI tweak.
A YouTube user, PoweredByFlow, is credited with discovering the following, which was then passed along to a wider audience via Sajius460 on Reddit. The claim... -

in NewsBatman: Arkham Knight 60FPS Workaround for PC Users
Batman: Arkham Knight came out tonight on all platforms. Unfortunately for those PC owners out there, the gameplay is capped at 30fps. Why? Not really sure. They have an in-game benchmark that most certainly goes above 30 but the game itself runs at 30 max.
That is unless you make this simple INI tweak!
- With the game not running, go to your installation folder for Arkham Knight. It will be something like: \steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight
- From there,
